Get your goat on!

Backblip #1

I dubbed these guys the three musketeers! They were constantly breaking free from the herd to come over and eat all our food scraps. They new exactly when morning tea and lunch occurred. While the apple cores must have been tasty I'm not really sure I would say the same about orange peel - but goats are of course not fussy!

We arrived at our build site today which is conveniently close to base camp so no need for wet wipe showers this week! Our base camp is nestled in the Ugab River, all the volunteers sleep in an open tree house entwined in the massive branches of the Anna tree - just paradise, although a little bit breezy! We are building a brick wall around a very popular well in the Ugab River that is used by many locals. The wall will stop the desert elephants of the area from contaminating the well and damaging infrastructure, and the motto of EHRA is - happy people, happy elephants :-)
