Mother & Baby

Spotted (no pun intended) this lil ladybird today. Above the ladybird is its larvae; I know this as Mr A found one on his windscreen a few weeks ago and we did a google search to find what it was. There are actually quite a few different species, and the larvae vary depending on how many spots the adult ladybird has. We rightly or wrongly identified this as a harlequin ladybird or harmonia axyridis
