Ordinary

Where we find our common birds just another ordinary bird that we see almost everyday, to others they can be less than ordinary..

This is our Red Wattle bird, we were stood at the BBQ and this one decided to check out the picnic bag! With one eye still on us!
He is a quite a large very noisy honeyeater bird, his name refers to the fleshy red wattle at the side of his neck.
They feed on nectar although some can catch insects while flying or from foliage.
At the moment there are quite a few around in our park, they can be quite an aggressive bird and will fight another bird for its territory...

A less than ordinary day today where the Fremantle dockers have just lost in their first ever footy final against Hawthorn, (an Eastern States Team) at the MCG. I think the whole of Perth has stopped to watch the footy!! But good on em for getting to the finals!!
