More berries - pyracantha

It looks like autumn is on its way despite trying desperately to ignore the signs. We planted this very thorny pyracantha bush at the bottom of the garden when our neighbour's out of control and very nasty german shepherd used to escape from their garden and prowl around ours. The dog is no more but the pyracanthas have done very well (and are very hard and painful to cut back). The berries always look very bright at the bottom of the garden and provide some good food for the birds that hide in their after visiting the feeders.

Having found that there's dirt inside my camera (again), I googled the problem and found that it seems to be quite common in Panasonic Lumix TZ20 an TZ19 models. I found an interesting approach to solving the problem - use a vacuum cleaner and open and close the zoom a few times. Lots of people said it had made a difference so I decided to give it a go. It really worked - the large hair that you can see in one of my recent blips (Blade) has now been removed and although there are still a couple of tiny dots, it is nothing like as bad as before. Worth a go if you have a similar problem - particularly if your camera is now out of warranty like mine.
