Sea hibiscus

These are flowers which fell from a tree along the driving range where my husband was practising, they are the flowers of the Talipariti tiliaceum or Sea Hibiscus. They are bright yellow when they start to flower and become orangey just before they drop off. More info on them here, I do indeed know them from Singapore. They're quite big and texture wise rather fleshy with those big veins.

Our last day in the paradise of Bali, one last evening swim and then tomorrow packing and hoping Denpasar's new terminal, which has opened semi-officially this weekend is up to scratch tomorrow night !
