Harriet and Henrietta

These are Harriet and Henrietta; I can't say which is which, but one of them is lying down in the bracken. They are traditional Hereford rare breed cattle, descended from the original population of Hereford cattle with no imported bloodlines, and are the ultimate foragers, capable of producing exceptional beef just from grass, with no additional feeding. They seem very contented grazing this heath land. For those of you who know me, I haven't suddenly become an expert on cattle. I read it on a notice displayed on the fence next to them.
