Here's an place we sometimes come for a walk. Behind this is nice and a wee bit further ahead is nice too. Where I used to come to such a place to enjoy the walk I now can't help evaluating it in my head as a potential run. So, this morning I came here for a run. It was a beautiful day and it was a lovely run. That arm of yellow land, stretching out into the sea; you run out there to the mouth of the Esk and return by the racecourse.

We seemed to be making up today for our pleasant and relaxed day yesterday and were very busy with chores. After tea I set about finishing my jelly. There are currently 12 jars cooling in the kitchen.
