dried up weeds

Well, I'm back to the weeds for today! Got off of work a little late, had a few errands to run, & by the time I got home I was too tired to go very far ...short walk...few pictures...in for the day! This was, at one time, a thistle plant--it's on it's "last legs", but I really liked all the wavy curled leaves! They almost look like carved wood! The one toward the right still has a few seeds to let loose, although it looks like it might be too much effort to free them---I think it's on it's way to the great weed heaven! :)
