Still blooming

I was given this rose bush as a present for my birthday last year, and typically it should have died by now as I am useless in the garden. But here it is, more than a year later and blooming beautifully and looking healthy. The only bit of colour on another dull day.

To be fair, the mornings start off dull and by the afternoon the sun seems to have finally woken up and there are more opportunities for photos with lovely light. But I will be busy this afternoon so it has to be a photo taken in the morning.

I have a blipmeet tomorrow which I am looking forward to - my first one I have ever done!
