Road Closed

Victoria had another day off school today as they are on strike so we went into Cambridge to do some shopping. Although we had lunch, in Harriet’s Tea Rooms, again, we did not find anything we wanted to buy.

The road was closed for much of the morning due to a fire at the University Arms Hotel, so the traffic was horrendous as the buses and other traffic had to go via a different route. I took this picture as we went to catch the Park and Ride bus back to the hospital allowing an hour to get there; it usually takes fifteen to twenty minutes but today it took forty-five minutes.
