Safe Landing

Glad to be back home again after the chaos of getting through endless airports, checkins, hand luggage searches and so on. Paladian and I literally trotted half a mile, pushing well laden trolleys from the SWA Terminal 1 to the Tom Bradley Terminal in Los Angeles. It was a lot of fun and we made checkin on time after a very late departure from LV.

We came home on the huge and wonderful A-380, but we were too tired to watch movies, or read iPads. Instead we slept a fair bit, and we were also 30 rows apart as we both like aisle seats!

Here is the view from the Qantas lounge in Sydney, after we navigated the disorganised chaos of arrival, too many planes landing together, and not enough immigration and Customs staff to get the crowds through quickly.

As you can see it was just as busy out on the flight path area.

Larger planes.

We both agreed that the overall service from Qantas was outstanding in all areas. But do try to avoid LAX if you are going to USA!
