Leckie Estate

A planned longer walk was abandoned due to heavy rain and generally dull conditions but we managed a shorter stroll on the Leckie Estate near Gargunnock. This stretch of water at one time presumably supplid water to houses on the Estate and it is still an attractive spot. With a little adjustment it makes for a satisfying image. lots of pheasant around today...shooting season has just begun... and we grabbed a picking of blackberries on the way back to the car, so not a wasted day !
