Bringing in the leaves!

What a lovely sunny afternoon - it felt like summer again! Having sat in the garden with a cup of tea, I decided I was NOT going to spend the afternoon ironing - instead I would do some gardening. I tackled some of the duck weed that gets everywhere in our garden, and then swept and raked most of the dead leaves from the lawn and path. This is me getting them into a bag! It was great to see the sun for a number of hours - the first time in days and days. (I got my jeans soaking wet kneeling on the grass! It's still very damp from all the rain showers we've had over a number of recent days).
