I think the biggest downside of digital photography is me getting more concerned with technical issues like focussing, blurring and colour corrections. In the good old film days when ignorance was bliss, or at least a week or two away until the prints came back from the chemist, my tolerances were a lot wider. And having to use tungsten colour film for proper indoor light balance seemed so much hassle that it easeir to just use black and white film.

Which is a very roundabout introduction to this photograph. This scene would make an interesting exercise on balancing the different interior and external lighting temperatures. But rather than trying to fix that in post-processing, I perfer to keep the contrasting colours that this produces.
