AFP night

due to the coolness of AFP fans, i met jen in the AFP signing Q last weekend (er, that's amanda palmer, not jen, btw) and thus had someone to go to the gig with! so, thanks to jen and her pal zoe for letting me tag along. pretty awesome night, huh?

we got stories, neil gaiman, 'i google you', a duet with amanda's sister, 'the ukelele song' with audience participation in the choosing of the uke, a seriously cool horn section, amusement and jaw-droppingness from the indelicates and zenzenzo, the support acts, plus a mass finale with everyone who'd been on stage back on stage all at once for a very amazing 'leeds united', plus an encore of 'oasis' and a wowsers version of 'let the sunshine in' from 'hair', with all howevermanyintheaudience singing along as section by section the band fell silent and walked offstage. hugely amanda palmer.

then a couple of rounds in opium and then home to bed. cheers ladies!
