Scurrying Skies...

Another night-time long exposure, near five minutes this time and I'm looking out over the Britford watermeadows, Salisbury.

A tributary to the River Avon in front of me, the latent streetlamp glow of Southampton Road radiating out into the early morning night-time sky and a stiff breeze all got this one going.

The original colour was a right old mixture of dirty browns and oranges, muddy greens and yellows, as the clouds bounced off the city streetlight glow. They scurried across from right to left in wafts and then patches of near clarity. Elongated stars appear, if you look closely on LARGE. . Decided to simplify things with a mono conversion, with a hint of blue photo filter to add a bit of 'something'.

It was a good mile walk there, the same back, it's very late now and my bedtime. See you all in the morning, folks!!

Lens is Nikkor 10-24mm
