Lonesome Tree on Bassenthwaite Lake

The plan is to totally revamp the guest dining room this Winter so today we started hunting around for inspiration in Workington of all places. Saw a few things that got us thinking and picked up some brochures so we'll see what comes of it. On the way home we pass alongside Bassenthwaite Lake,(the only actual Lake in the Lake District), and I remembered that I have always wanted to photograph a particular tree on the shore. The weather was good for it, over cast and rainy so I gave it a shot. It could easily be improved with some time spent on it but that's something I don't have much of at the moment.
