For day four of DDW's October Challenge: Something on my Wish List

I have a wish list as long as my arm; one of my wishes which I'm happy to disclose is that I wish I could be a better baker.

Aiden and I made these cupcakes this afternoon, they taste fine because it was a 'packet mix' and the instructions were to just add water and oil but in the past whenever I've attempted to make cakes from scratch, they aren't as successful.
