Fried green tomatoes?

I've been hanging on for the last couple of weeks for my tomatoes to ripen, but alas, they're still green.

Made the decision today to harvest them, since the weather is getting colder now and I don't want them to die when I've got them this far!

I've never grown them before, so am mega impressed with the crop, from a £1 tesco plant too! I would highly recommend the upside down planters too if anyone fancies growing their own next year.

Just need them to ripen now....suggestions welcome :-)
