Champion Lawn Mower

Did you know that today was round 5 of the British Lawn Mower Racing Association's Endurance Championship? Luckily, my champion chose to stay at home and mow our lawn. It is unbelievable how much it has grown in the 3 weeks since it was last mown! He was at it most of the day, mowing slowly because it was so lush and wet, so it was an endurance test! Even though they are up to their knees in grass, the cows still queue at the garden gate for the mown grass - maybe they like it because it is ready-chopped, or maybe even they think the grass is greener on the other side :-))
