Getting Hitched

The complex process
of leaving for the winter
requires such patience!

I am a snowbird. Leaving Canada for the winter months is what we do. Some snowbirds head for Florida. Some, like me, head for Arizona. The US government has extended the period of stay we are allowed, from 6 months to 8 months. There seems to be an appreciation for what Canadian retirees contribute to the economy in the US states that provide a winter haven.

There are still a few jobs to be done before blastoff in 10 days. Today, the travel trailer went in for new tires. That required hitching it to the truck to take it to the tire shop. Mission accomplished! Now I have 4 new tires but need an alignment done too. That's next week.
