Comma

Zig-zagging up the leafy path to reach the top of the hill in the Malverns this afternoon I had to pause. Startling in it's colourful brilliance against the grey tree trunks in the dark and subdued lighting of the wood, to me it was just like a fiery little beacon! A comma.

Drat..... wrong lens so had to change it...drat the dogs were on leads and double drat there was another dog heading my way up the narrow path not on a lead - which drives Tilly into apoplexy! Juggling lenses, lens caps, leads, camera and dogs on the edge of quite a severe drop...aaargh..... I leant over the edge as far as I could manage to get this.

Reaching the top of the zig-zag you walk across the ridge running south to north, where, as it was a clear and sunny day the dramatic panoramic views were amazing over the thirteen counties from the highest point - the Worcestershire Beacon at 425m. Fabulous rolling countryside for miles!

It was a close call not to blip bubbles - a glass from this morning.
