Famous Tombstone

In addition to my previous visit to the Frans Hals museum I learned that the famous Dutch painter is also buried in Haarlem.

In the Saint Bavo Cathedral to be precise.

The strange thing about this cathedral is that the entire floor is made of old tombstones and Frans is just one of them, but odd enough it looks pretty new compared to his neighbors.

Come on... you can take a closer look, no ghost is going to prevent you pressing the magnifying glass ;-)
