Alpine meadows of Mount Rose

We took our last chance to walk in the meadows of Mount Rose more than 8000 feet high above Reno. It is supposed to be snowing here tonight. I took many nice pictures that showed the last fall colors (it is quite cold already up there), so the choice, which one to choose for the Blip was not easy. Some Aspen gave bright yellow color, several bushes were dark red and many other plants weaved a carpet of ocker, beige, green and yellow.
I choose this one with Maggie. She had an enormous amount of fun playing and running through all the bushes, because we had company who brought Silkey , an older Husky. The two dogs like each other well and love to play together.
Will post some other pictures on my Facebook Site
