Sings of Life

This is Robin, a talented and beautiful model and photographer. Earlier this summer, the day before she was to model for an internationally respected and accomplished photographer, was in a serious bicycle accident that badly scared her face.

This is the first image she's allowed to be taken of her and her scar. She knows that it changes her modeling career, though it was never going to be her primary vocation, but now she has a sense that this scar is beautiful, a proof of her endurance and a tragically lovely reminder that life is ripe with obstacles...some we see while others surprise us, leaving us with marks and bruises, leaving us with signs of life.
