Shorthorn siesta.

Today was sunny and not too cold.

I started the day walking Nellie and causing a furore. Apparently shortly after I walked past the estate manager and waved, a "mad" cow and her newborn calf ran down the road. He was then concerned that I would meet them and be attacked so he tried to phone me...I had left my phone at home....and alerted my husband. I was oblivious to the whole thing and carried on the walk and returned home safely while everyone worried! The farm manager when he got there thought that someone had died by all the fuss!!

Here are two calves...not mad.....relaxing in the afternoon sun!
