EH7 5AA - up on the hill // Friday night

Once upon a time is great to go up on the hill everywhere. You could see the horizonts which you would like to go over. Or you just want to see lovely view only.

It depends only on you what do you prefer at the moment.
That´s only your priority moment right now.
You could choose what do you want.

Especially if you´re on Friday night.
It´s almost 7 pm in the evening.

Maybe you are withdrawing your cash from nearest cash machine to enjoy your another great night out with friends right now.

Or maybe you are just only listening some great song from your favourite radio station because you are the "lucky one" who is working through the weekend.

Or maybe you are like me up on the hill and you are hearing the sounds of shutters on Calton Hill when night is coming to Edinburgh. Night-time photography is more popular I think. Not only for tourists with DSLR´s , compact cameras or Japanese couple which is using its iPhone 5 ;-)
Even tablet is using by somebody to catch that moment.

The moment when dusk is over.

Yeah, sound of shutter is always great to hear. Even if you are hearing the other cameras at the same place at the same time.

But only sound of shutter is welcome ;-)

The beeping is not welcome when you are using the self-timer or setting up the camera. Be quiet please. It´s like in the old times of analogue cameras. Sound of shutter was the only sound which you could heard ;-)

Trust me, there is a sound option in menu of your camera which could turn off all that sounds except the sound which means that shutter is opening for your long-time exposure.

Be classic and old-fashioned :-) Even in 21st century (-:

btw. If you want to do the best night pictures from Calton Hill just ask somebody about the door keys from Nelson Monument. I´m pretty sure, That place is great observing point.

Have a happy (not only monochromatic) shooting for that weekend !

second sound of my monochromatic shutter here

And many thanks for your comments and stars for the "Stairs interpretation" ;)
