Shell

The Shell Centre - Waterloo, London. Built in 1961 designed by Sir Howard Robertson. 107 metres high with 27 storeys (three storeys below ground). The tower was the first London office tower to exceed the height of the Victoria Tower of the Palace of Westminster. It was the tallest in the United Kingdom. On completion it also held the record for the largest office building, by floor space, in Europe.

I went in to see Mr P on Thursday. He still getting better. There are setbacks. like infections and blocked tubes but there are more ups than downs. We went for a little walk along the Southbank. He mentioned this tower, I think he quite likes it. Not sure myself. It doesn't look that great to me - any thoughts anyone?
