The Mosaic

This is the top of the garage wall, the garage being on the next terrace down, and it faces the car parking area. The section, 6m x 1m approx., was left with the blockwork showing and was obviously intended for tiling... or something, so I decided to do the something.

I've finished most of the stone bits and now have to do the rest of the water and the sky, but I've just about run out of the flat pebbles I'm using. We need to go to the beach and fill the rucksack with black, white and orange stones, and all the shades inbetween. I suppose it's not environmentally very good for the coastline but I want to get it finished!
