After last night's excitement, we were all quite late getting up. When we finally did, we were out of the door in 10 minutes and on our way to town for brunch.

We went to Spoons, and received classic Spoons service. My toast took 28 minutes to arrive, Amber's breakfast roll took even longer. There was a shortage of hash browns all round, and Ruth ended up getting someone else's breakfast.

Having said that, Jon was very impressed that the veggie breakfast is actually vegan if you leave the egg and don't butter the toast. My toast, juice and coffee came to under £3.50. And we complained to so many members of staff about the hash brown situation that we ended up with loads. Score.

Me and Graham did some shopping (accidentally broke my self-imposed-book-buying-embargo) then headed home - he did some lino printing while I baked an apple cake. It's still baking actually. Takes flipping ages.
