Searching for Esra.

I first blipped a poster I saw of Esra on the 18th June 2011. Her sister Berna contacted me with the following comment on Blipfoto:

This is my sister Esra Uyrun, we are still desperately searching for her, I live in London and have travelled to Ireland 6 times in the last 4 months putting up all these poster of her and talking to the media. If you Google ESRA UYRUN you will see all the articles to date.

We have no leads and no one has come forward as yet, we are hoping and praying every day that she is found, she is a mother and her sons needs his mummy, please be on the lookout

Since then Berna has travelled to Ireland many more times, I met her by chance today on the promenade in Bray making an upcoming documentary with Channel 4 about Esra. She was putting up new posters in the hope that it would refresh someone's memory. She is heartbroken not to be able to find any trace of her sister. I just want to pay a tribute to her for the love and dedication she has toward Esra and hope that there is a breakthrough in the very near future.

Esra Uyrun is about 5 foot 3. She speaks with an English accent but is originally from Turkey. Esra Uyrun, 38, was last seen leaving her home at Collinstown Grove, Clondalkin, at 7:15am on Wednesday morning 23rd February 2011 and getting into a grey Renault Twingo car, registration number 08D23067.Gardaí say the car was later discovered in the Bray area, but there has been no sign of Uyrun since.

The missing woman is described as 5 foot 3 inches in height, with blonde highlighted hair and green eyes. When last seen she was wearing black leggings, white Nike trainers, and a dark top.
