Shopping

Eventually we managed to tear ourselves away from whatever it is we were supposed to be doing and go to the gin shop to buy gin, a scarf and other things vital to non-shuffling mortal coils.

To start off with we met A, who we visited following our expedition. Then D met another A in the shop for expensive hair and face condiments while I returned to another shop with the kettle with the wrong bottom and exchanged it for a more appropriate bottom. I also cashed in on the opportunity to by a new external hard drive and so will avoid the need to test the limits of the present one. Replete with a terabyte and the new bottom we proceeded to the supermarket, where within a parsec we had bumped into M and E (who we had tried to contact to go to see the Walesa film) and before long K (who should have been X) and the man who MOTs the car.

We had a lot of decisions to make by the gin refuelling station and nearly caused the bottom of cardboard box to fall out. Oh what a wailing and gnashing of teeth there might have been. Onward to the till, where the girl was philosophical about the absorbing challenge she faced. We were then financially challenged and I hastened to the obliging cashpoint. Cash only in this supermarket. RT meanwhile rang as I hastened towards the till, where the supermarket was again throbbing with commerce, unperturbed by our momentary budgetry imbalance. I captured K, close to the gin area. He's planning a show in LA.

We then called in on A for coffee and in D's case some brioche. After a long chat we admired the wild boar and the special deer in the fading light before driving back through Berzniki for a change. We noticed that the road is lined with posts and flags, maybe they are expecting snow there. Unless..., no I doubt it.
