Autumnal colour

The first book-swap club morning took place in the village church. It was a gloriously warm and bright day showing up all the beautiful autumn colours.

The book-swap was fun although I didn't see anything that grabbed me, quite a few of the older people were clearing out some of their hardbacks which were collecting dust from their bookcases. Always good to chat and drink coffee. I had given most of my unwanted paperbacks to charity but took along The African Queen and Michael Palin's recently published novel. Any donations were going to the Lord's Larder.

T was able to drill a neighbouring farmer's land today and luckily was able to finish it. Rain tomorrow!

Good in LARGE.
