Revealing Dresses

The winds have torn petals off the tulips, leaving them a little exposed.

A pleasant overcast nor'westery day. Although it was warm there have been some cold spells lately, which has depleted my ready to use firewood. I sawed a lot of wood and chopped kindling. I'm ready for the next cold snap, but am I ready for tonight's severe gale?
