Bye bye Arielle

Our neighbor came this afternoon to pick up the cows he "loaned" us for the summer. The pasture is completely eaten down and rather than haul hay over here to feed them, he decided to take them back to his farm with the rest of his cows. The cows were right along the lane when I came home from work and I snapped this shot, not knowing they would be leaving today. Then when they left, I thought this was a fitting blip for today. They were all very tame and easy to work with, it was a pleasure sharing our pasture with them. The previous owners named this one Arielle.

It's another beautiful warm and sunny fall day - the temperature is going to fall by the weekend, but I can't help enjoying this gorgeous weather.
