Denise, You're on

This in Mchangatua 2 Primary school, if you could call it a school.
It is located in Mzuzu city and has in excess of 2000 students.
It has 4 classrooms and these two animal shelters (by any other name).
The kids are bright, eager and well dressed belying the poor nature of the area.
As one of the schools involved in Wells for Zoe's teacher training/mentoring project, Mary and Denise visited today.
One teacher needed help with a lesson, in English, their third language and asked Denise to deliver it. Of course no bother to Denise, despite the fact that the blackboard was white from use or that she had 148 students or that a sand storm blew through the room all the time.
The floors comprise a few inches of sand that the students water to keep down the dust, then sit on it.
The brick built rooms are a little better, but where are all the millions in AID going. And at this moment all avenues have been exhausted for funding.
If we had the funds we could help, but Primary School building is not on our list of agreed priorities. World, this is a scandal.
