One Step at a Time

The Reformer

Finally, I've done this shot having attempted it several times or ousted it for a better opportunity on the day. The plinth, papers, the three steps and the figure are all part of the same sculpture. After all the attempts, I'm pretty pleased with this.

The character is Birmingham local Thomas Attwood who was a leading light in the campaign for the Great Reform Act of 1832 - hence the words on the steps. Had he lived, Thomas would have been 230 a week or so ago. Amongst other things, the Great Reform Act did away with rotten boroughs. And all self respecting Black Adder fans should know what they are all about.
