Rain stops play

Typical British summer, bbq arranged for 3 oclock, glorious sunshine, lit the bbq and when Jen & Chris arrived with the boys they brought the rain with them.

Being the eternal optimist I was convinced it would blow over but instead it got heavier and heavier. We had several big umberallas up but it was hopeless, we managed to get all the food cooked and then made a dash for the house.

After drying off it was scoff on and thoroughly enjoyable it was too.

Thanks for a great afternoon and evening it was a great laugh, and was good to catch up too. x x
