Cosmos

Dark, cold dreary and drizzling! But driving along saw this! Elegant with very fine foliage this pink cosmos stood out in a flowerbed leading down to the river.

The dogs in the back of the car......... panting ......waiting for 'walkies' were a bit bemused when I stopped and DIDN'T let them out! Did make up for it later :) Knew the photo ops on the riverbank were going to be minimal so this was a bit of a blessing especially as I just knew it was going to tip down with torrential rain any second. Waiting for a break in the gusts of wind I fired of nuuuuumerous shots! So you have this - more by good luck than good management :))
