Tomb of Feroz Shah in Delhi

This is a complex in Delhi built by Feroz Shah Tughlaq who ruled the Delhi Sultanate from 1351-88 CE.

It consists of a large open water tank built originally 50 years earlier and restored by Feroz Shah and the Madrasa-e-Feroz Shahi around the south-western corner of the Tank. This was an institution of higher education endowed by the Sultan with grants for professors and students.

Feroz Shah chose the site to build his own tomb as the focal point of the complex, which is what is shown here.
