Still Life

No chance of getting outside today, so I thought I'd try a still life and play around with it in Elements 10. This was the result. I tried the drawing option from the Effects menu in Elements Editor and quite liked it.

The weather has been awful. South-westerly gales have been roaring in all day, lashing the rain against the windows and whipping the laurels back and forth. It's been a good day to be inside. It doesn't seem to be getting any better this evening. I think it's going to be a case of snuggling nice and warm in bed and listening to the weather outside.

Apart from the photography, it's been cleaning and finding passports and European Health Insurance Cards. We're going to Normandy for a few days next Sunday. Unfortunately the cards expired last year! So it's been a quick panic application with fast-track and hoping they get here by Saturday.
