Yalta, Yalta, Yalta!

Today we were meant to tender into Yalta. Tender 1 loaded and went ashore. Tender 2 loaded, and sat and sat and sat, because the wind was whipping up. An announcement was made, saying tendering was temporarily suspended due to winds being too high to safely operate a tender service. An hour and a half later tendering was cancelled, and the Captain said the focus would be on getting the people who had gone ashore back on board. (Rather them than me!). They hastily cobbled together an entertainment programme, and bleary eyed musicians were dragged out of bed to perform! Later we looked out and saw snow settling on the mountains. Even later we saw that this ominous cloud was descending down the mountain towards us. The Captain upped anchor and got the hell out of there.
