Mass observation

The steers in the field behind the house are always curious about our activities but this afternoon their excited lowing and bellowing reached crescendo proportions and we went to see if there was some kind of emergency. They were all crowded up against the fence, jostling for position as they competed for the best possible view...  of the washing flapping on the clothesline!
A troop of can-can dancers at the  Folies Bergère could hardly have commanded more rapt attention.

This is the sort of random unplanned blip that I like but can't be counted on as a daily occurrence. My cri de coeur  a couple of days ago resulted in some good suggestions: objects, macro, abstract, nocturnal, visiting Ireland - and more chocolate! I'll be putting some of those into practice, especially the last  (thank you, Nanou.)
