Munich Underground: 2/100 Alte Heide underground station

Second station in my strictly alphabetical Munich underground series. Alte Heide ("Old Heathland") underground station was among the first to open in 1971, when attention was only paid to functionality and not much to arts and architecture. That's a similarity to the first station in the series at Aidenbachstraße.

After getting home and looking at the photo on my laptop I noticed the almost shocking similarity to yesterday's blip of the Highlight Towers.
