La belle France

in Chichester! Found this very continental looking building near the Nuffield Hospital where we took my Dad for an appointment this afternoon. I'd never seen this place before - it looks as though it is a Georgian house with shutters added for the continental effect! Does look pretty convincing though.

We went over to Dad's this morning and got some fish and chips for lunch - I had fish cakes as I thought they would be less greasy and they were very nice. We had a good chinwag before setting out to the hospital late afternoon. The car is playing up again - when we got back in having bought the fish and chips it was very reluctant to start, but fortunately after a number of attempts it did. It has been reluctant every time since, so the garage will have to be contacted again tomorrow. Of course last time they couldn't find anything wrong because it had put itself right somehow....Anyway, we managed to get home okay and Stuart parked it facing the road so that it's easier if it should have to be towed!

It's been dry and sunny here today, which was nice, after a rainy night. The wind was quite strong, but has now died down. Nothing particular planned for tomorrow but I don't think I can avoid doing some cleaning and washing - how exciting! :-)
