The Fall

Autumn is upon us, which I believe our cousins across the water refer to as "The Fall".

Makes sense when you think about it really. More sense than the running together of two words I heard recently: Sumtum (Autumn/Summer). Eurgh.

We took a nice stroll out today and went down by the river. M'boy is champing at the bit to walk and can mostly get by by holding a single finger of my hand. I don't want to wish his life away, but I can't wait to see him properly running around.

For now, it is a lovely time to be around him knowing that his only concern in the world is to get one foot in front of the other.
