Silky Dolly

I've started a new weaving project using silk hankies, that's what the colourful square is! I pull apart the layers and then I pull it out into a fine roving and I use that to weave with! You would usually spin them but I'm going for a thick and thin slubby effect!

Spent all day doing college work, which I managed to get finished! Nothing like a deadline to really make you work! I'm through in Edinburgh at college tomorrow, so a 5.30 start!

I have a voice again, after 10 days, which is nice! It's still not strong, sounds like I've got a bad sore throat and I'm sure it won't last more than a couple of days! Just need to try and take it easy when I'm at college tomorrow, doctor's orders!
