Oh, dear...after last night's excesses I really didn't want to leave the safety of my bed this morning. But had long standing, long overdue treat to meet today. Got my inspiration for the venue here. And can confirm that it is so filling that no further food was required.

Then shopping for very special pressie - and we got the last one in the shop - it was the display one. So no home assembly....RESULT!

Then another impromtu night in the pub, only a couple for me. Lots of the usual chat, who's dead, who's ill, who's bought a house in Spain, the footie, the Derby, young-people-today, cycling, holidays, the party, etc etc. And the best bit was i could walk home, no need for a taxi.
