First day in Jersey

I arrived in Jersey early afternoon to glorious sunshine after a morning of rain. I got the bus into St Helier and found my hotel and then went for a walk with my camera. This is just to the east of the harbour and the power station, at Dicq Slipway. It was lovely being by the coast on a wide, almost empty beach, in the sunshine after days of rain.
