Shorn

The siren calls of a thousand Turkish barbers must have worn down my resistance the other week. I did a quick u-turn and nipped in for a haircut after work today, most unplanned and unexpected. This barber's shop is pretty stripped down; just a chair, a mirror and another chair where he sits patiently waiting for flies to enter his web. The bike repair shop next door is even more basic though, a workbench and some tools does the job. They both advertise their trade in the traditional way with their shop signs. The barber's pole has been replaced with a short plank but you still get the message!
